Palm Monorail overview
The Palm Monorail opened in 2009. The monorail operates on a driverless system. Each monorail train has three carriages. The track is three miles long and is elevated, offering views of the Palm, the Burj Al Arab and the Burj Khalifa. Currently there are two stations open: Gateway and Atlantis Aquaventure.
Palm Monorail stations
The Atlantis Aquaventure station is located close to the entrance of the water park. The Palm Gateway station is located close to the entrance to the Palm Jumeirah. The Gateway station is linked with the Dubai Tram.
Tickets and opening hours
A one-way ticket on the monorail costs 15 AED. A return ticket costs 25 AED.
The monorail is open from 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. daily. Trains depart every 15 - 23 minutes and the journey takes 10 minutes.
Palm Monorail tram connection
The monorail is connected by a walkway to the Palm Jumeirah tram stop.
